Product Introduction
The DIN 17175 16mo3 Round Pipe is a type of chromium molybdenum alloy that has the wall thickness of 2.6mm. The different numbers in the grading indicate the different mechanical properties such as the wall thickness, diameter and pressure containments. The UNS K11820 16Mo3 Sch40 Pipe for example belongs to schedule 40 which is denoted by the Sch40 and it is used mostly in condensers and refrigerators. DIN 17175 16Mo3 Welded Pipe is stronger and withstand higher temperatures up to 600 degrees Celsius. The EN 10253-2 Grade 16Mo3 Alloy Steel Seamless Pipe has carbon content in 0.12-0.2 % of the entire composition. It also has manganese in 0.4-0.9% proportions in the composition. There are different product versions under EN 10216-2 Grade 16Mo3 Alloy Steel Pipes and each of them has specific mechanical properties. The 16Mo3 Chrome Moly Steel Pipe types are used in elevated temperatures.
